Our Kuantan Port Facility is located at:
Kuantan Port, considered as one of the most experienced port in the handling of steel pipes, is located at Tanjung Gelang (Lat 3° 58'N, Long 103° 26'E), some 25 kilometres north of Kuantan town. It is an all weather deep-sea commercial port that is enclosed almost entirely by an inner and outer breakwaters measuring 200m and 1800m respectively. Kuantan Port has a turning basin of 500 metres in diameter. At low tide, the maximum permissible
draught is 11.2 metres. For general cargo, there are three multi-purpose berths measuring a total length of 540 metres. These berths can accommodate vessels of up to 45,000 displacement tonnes. These is a container berth of 200 metres long with reinforced foundation and crane rails strong enough to withstand the weight of a container crane. This berth can accommodate vessels of up to 45,000 displacement tonnes. Other ancillary facilities available at this port are one palm oil berth, two dolphin berths, one mineral oil berth and a service jetty. The latter is being used by PPSC INDUSTRIES SDN.
